Public Relations Plan

Two Media Exposure Ideas
1. Publicity Event - Carnival
2. Educational Event/Questionnaire

My first idea for media exposure is staging a publicity event. For this event it can be some sort of “fair/carnival” idea in a populated area like the campus center, where students are able to come and participate in things like games that have to do with healthcare facts and trivia to win incentives like gift cards, food, campus merchandise, etc. At this fair/carnival there can also be volunteers from the clinic present to provide information and education on immunizations and our clinic/healthcare in general. Finally, at this event we can offer a private on-campus immunization site where students are able to receive immunizations if they wish. This can also be a good opportunity to market our social media outlets and text updates for students to sign up for. This is a good media exposure idea because students have incentives given and fun ways to want to interact with the clinic, as well as a good opportunity to learn a bit about our clinic and even get vaccinated without going out of their way.

"We want to help our cause and increase exposure while also relating to and getting the attention of our demographic."

My second idea for media exposure is hosting educational events like lectures or questionnaires with well known and trusted professors from the university who are well versed in healthcare and familiar with vaccinations and everything related to them. Additionally they will be able to provide information and answer questions to help our cause and increase exposure while also relating to and getting the attention of our demographic. This is a beneficial media exposure idea because these partnerships are with relatable and trustworthy people that our demographic already knows and trusts so they will be more inclined to listen and take advice from them on healthcare matters. We will be able to effectively promote receiving vaccinations and increase healthcare education for our student demographic, building trust and raising awareness through well-known professionals and peer-based partnerships.
